Cracking night at Quinntessential again last night. Makes such a difference when the acts and crowd are engaged with each act throughout and it really helps :) Hadn’t done the gig in about a year but Dave deserves huge credit for putting on the night, doing a class job as an MC throughout to get the crowd going and continually getting people in that fill the back room out and stay for the duration. Great fun and always really appreciate the stage time and seeing some really promising acts.

Hi, I’m doing my final London preview ahead of my debut Edinburgh Fringe show this year at the Pen Theatre on July 27th at 19:30. I moved down with my wife just before the pandemic from Edinburgh and I’ll be honest I can probably count on one hand the amount of people I know down here so I’m slightly bricking it that there will be nobody there. If anyone wants to come along to see the show before I take it up to Edinburgh it would be hugely appreciated 🙂 Thanks 🙏

Big love to the team behind the American Style Open Mic in Shoreditch. Nice stage and perfect place to try out new stuff as well as material that will hopefully never see the light of day again! There’s not many gigs like this that you come off trying new stuff not hating yourself so this is a welcome change!

Hi, I’m taking my debut hour to Edinburgh this year and really keen to book in a preview or two before I go. Long story short, I don’t think I could pull enough of a crowd down here in some of the bigger preview rooms so wondered if any venues/promoters were looking to run any previews or double bills at their venues in June/July that might be able to accommodate? Sorry, don’t want this to come across as cheeky but if anything’s going it would be massively helpful :) Thanks! :)

Hi everyone. Have tried the usual outlets with no joy so thought I’d give it a bash here. Looking for a bringer for Quinn’s this Thursday if anyone can manage? I used to subject my wife to these things all the time but since our puppy arrived it’s become quite tricky to leave him on his own. Great fun at Comedy Lab tonight. Thanks for running it Jimmy when lots would have cancelled with the football being on. Perfect laid back gig to get back to it after a couple months off and ideal room to try to untangle new material. Would recommend for anyone wanting to try out new material.

Anyone putting on a show next year and struggling for cash to hire a graphic designer or photographer, a lot can be said for putting a post out to Uni students to help out. They’ll be looking for projects for their course and it could really help their exposure too. @jswgraphic on Instagram did mine and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. Obviously, I’d still encourage you to pay them for their hard work but it won’t be nearly as costly and you know they’ll put their all into the project.
